When: August 17-21

Why: 11th DP Community Meeting

Aug 17: Flight was delayed by 30 min but arrived on time (11:50 am) bec. the pilot made up for the lost time by increasing speed. Effect: I was drowsy when we arrived but I had no choice but to shake it off coz I had a 2pm meeting at the office. Rested afterwards until I met up with Nicey, my college friend.
We ate at Lau Pa Sat. Yes, we were able to eat 10 chicken satay, 1 chili crab, 1 order of cereal shrimps and 1 large plate of nasi. We had to walk off all the food near the Esplanade and the Merlion.

Aug 18: Whole day meeting. Dinner at Jumbo Restaurant in Clarke Quay then some drinks afterwards. Gained another few extra pounds coz dinner was Chili Crab, Shrimp balls, Bamboo clams, Shrimp with Salted Eggs, and some fried rice.

Aug 19: Whole day meeting again. Lunch at Parkmall with Beanne, Juancho and Mother Mile. Walked around Orchard at night. Visited OG, Takashimaya and Plaza Singapura. Was able to buy Abby and Myka clothes coz everything was expensive.

Aug 20: Whole day meeting again. Learned that Lou was not able to fly so I did not go to the Night Safari anymore. Went to Mustafa instead to look for cheap things. Saw some Pinoy trannies.

Aug 21: Slept in then went to Clarke Quay. Was supposed to go Reverse Bungee Jumping but it was closed in the morning. Went to Harbour Front to see the cable cars but I was enticed to go by myself so I had an impromptu Sentosa tour alone but it was worth it.

Ceramics for Sale

My husband is selling ceramics from Pampanga. We are selling it at 50% of their mall prices because we get them directly from the makers.

Since our office sponsored the PCD concert, Myka and I were able to watch the show. We had Gold tickets and there was a bleacher for kids and 1 companion.
Good thing we arrived on time, we didn't have stiff necks and aching legs.

Meet Bumblebee, our SPaCeshiP....

Inspired by my husband Rain, who is a multi-hypenated artist, singer-actor-producer-businessman-fashion designer-hunk, I decided to add another title to my name. I am now a mother-wife-employee-businesswoman.

Kidding aside, my other husband (Joey) and I decided to make the big leap and bought our own school service. We plan to operate it next school year in SPCP so to those who have kids and nieces who go to SPCP and are from the Mandaluyong area, you may contact me now if you want them to ride in a brand new school service. I assure you that we are reliable since my husband's family has been in the school service business since the 1970's.

Anyway, because of its shape, we call it now Bumblebee but Myka calls it SPaCeshiP. Your pick....

Goodbye FrancisM!

    When Jan Nieto, who was my officemate, was a contestant in Philippine Idol, we were in SM Megamall almost every weekend to cheer for him.  However, aside from supporting Jan, my family also looked forward to seeing Francis M who was one of the judges of the show. 

    You see, my family is a die-hard Eat Bulaga family and being one of the Dabarkads, we really loved Francis M.  Actually, among the 3 judges, it is only with Francis that we had our picture taken even if it was with just a camera phone. 

    Personally, as my jologs Friendster profile says, my two favorite movies are Bagets 2 and Ninja Kids.  I've been watching those 2 movies since I was 7 until I have burned our betamax. Of course it did not end there because I bought the VCDs when they were released.  Guess who is on both movies? Yes, FrancisM (together with Bistek and Monching).  Until now, I try to be as cool as Ponce and want a Momo steering wheel.   If you don't get it, then review your Bagets 2 tape.

    When he became the Master Rapper, I admit I bought those peace necklaces (yes, I was Grade 4 then).  Until now, one of my favorite songs is Kaleidescope World.  I guess our Kaleidescope World just lost one of its brightest color.  But I'm sure, wherever he is now, he'll be fine.

And as a true Francis M fan, it's time to say, "SEAMLESS NA!!!!!"

Abby's 1st Parlor Haircut

Where: Cuts for Tots, Megamall
When: January 18, 2009

Before, Abby only lets her Mamu cut her hair at home. Even our stylist at our parlor cannot touch her hair so we brought her to a kiddie parlor so she could overcome her fear.

As you can see in the pictures, she enjoyed having her hair cut that she was so behaved and wanted to come back already after leaving the parlor.
